ACLU Speakers Bureau

Do members of your group need answers to a civil liberties question?  Do you want to liven up a meeting or classroom debate?  Maybe you are lacking a keynote speaker for your conference?

The ACLU of Northern California has civil liberties and civil rights experts available to speak at your next event--at no charge.

Request a speaker at least three weeks in advance to reserve a civil liberties expert for your group.  You can do so by completing the following form.

Whether the topic is a current ballot measure or an age-old constitutional question, the ACLU-NC will make every effort to provide a speaker for your organization or event.

Our Speakers Bureau includes attorneys, educators, members of the ACLU-NC Board of Directors, and other experts well versed in issues as current as today’s headlines.

Members of our Speakers Bureau have presented on topics including:

  • Bill of Rights
  • Death Penalty

"During my tenure at the ACLU, I got to work with young people who may not have heard about the ACLU previously, but once they understood what we were all about, they were so motivated to fight for their own rights and for the rights of others."
Nancy Otto, ACLU-NC Activist
