Registration for next semester’s classes is quickly approaching and it’s time to start thinking about doing an externship or clinic. Clinics and externships are a great opportunity to put legal skills into practice, build relationships with potential employers, and to provide assistance to legal organizations working for justice in the Bay Area. Note that the following opportunities are only available to students of Golden Gate University Law.
Class Opportunities:
Street Law (USF): This class is open to GGU students and provides an opportunity to go out to a Bay Area high school and teach law to high school students. Click here to learn more.
Youth Law: The GGU Club of the ACLU is organizing a youth law class this spring to provide students with the opportunity to work about 12 hours a week with a youth law organization and to take a weekly seminar with Stephen Rosenbaum from Disability Rights California. To take this class, register for: LAW 896Y - Externship: Youth Law.

Other Opportunities:
- The Just Ed Program is a group opportunity for six Golden Gate students.
- The Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights is looking for two externs from GGU to work on Williams Act implementation.
- The East Bay Children's Law Offices are looking for two GGU 3L's, one for each of their new offices.
