Gov. Brown: Here's $450 million for the California budget.

Tell Governor Brown and your California representatives that you support critical reforms, including cutting the Corrections Budget, which funds California's prison system.

One simple sentencing reform – making possession of small amounts of drugs a misdemeanor instead of a felony – would save California taxpayers up to $450 million annually. A portion of these dollars can be transferred to local authorities to provide rehabilitation and drug treatment programs.

It's time to make California smart on crime to promote and preserve public safety. Follow this link to send a message to Governor Brown and your California legislators.

Email the governor.
