CA AB 841: Crime: Personal Data of Former Sex Offenders

Requires all registered sex offenders to include e-mail address and instant messenger names, in the information they are required to report to the Department of Justice. The DOJ will also make this information available to broadly defined third-party social networking sites, such as Myspace.com, so that they may “screen” users.
