CA SB 836: Fair Employment: Familial Status

Adds "familial status" to the list of prohibited basis for discrimination under the Fair Employment and Housing Act. The bill recognizes that California’s diverse population has a variety of family obligations that should not subject them to discriminatory treatment in the workplace.
