More than 300 attendees, 18 phenomenal workshops and over 100 lobby visits: "#ACLUCon" was such an amazing success this year!
We held trainings led by policy and media experts and heard from inspiring speakers like Camila Chavez, executive director of the Dolores Huerta Foundation.
The 2014 ACLU of California Conference & Lobby Day culminated at the State Capitol where hundreds of advocates from Humboldt to Fresno to San Diego converged to exercise their First Amendment right to assemble and to share their personal stories with their respective lawmakers.
