San Francisco: ACLU Voter Text Banking
Elections matter. Our civil rights and civil liberties are riding on the upcoming midterm elections. We need people like you to do everything they can to protect the ballot and expand the rights of everyone, citizens and non-citizens, alike.
We’re hosting many exciting opportunities for in-office text banks that seek to engage voters in the Central Valley. Our goal is to get voters to the polls in the districts of Congressmen Jeff Denham, David Valadao, and Devin Nunes.
Will you join the ACLU of Northern California for a text bank in San Francisco?
We will start with a light dinner around 5 p.m., training will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m., and you’ll be done by 8:30 p.m.!
Please bring your laptop (preferred), tablet, or smartphone — and we’ll provide all the materials, text bank scripts, and technical support. No previous text banking experience needed! We will have a few extra tablets available. Participants will need 3G access on their smartphones, or WiFi on their tablets or laptops.
For more information, contact Amanda Young at firstname.lastname@example.org.
