ACLU of Northern California Senior Staff Attorneys Julia Harumi Mass and Linda Lye will speak on a panel, Technology and the Bill of Rights in the 21st Century at Rights and Wrongs: A Constitution Day Conference at San Francisco State University.

The ACLU safeguards civil liberties in the digital world. As technology advances, we make sure that protections guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution, the California Constitution, and the Bill of Rights aren't left behind. These include privacy and free speech rights. We push back on digital censorship and government surveillance.

This two-day conference is free and open to the public. No registration is required. All sessions will be held on the SFSU campus; specific locations will be publicized in late August and early September. Meals will not be provided, but there are many dining options on the SFSU campus. More info »
