Himani Nadgauda is a litigation assistant at the ACLU of Northern California. In this capacity, she is involved in criminal justice and voting rights advocacy and helps attorneys with active litigation.
Prior to joining the ACLU, Himani was a patent agent at Michael Best & Friedrich LLP, where she drafted and prosecuted patent applications and was co-chair of the Diversity Committee. Himani has also worked as a legal assistant at Hogan Lovells US LLP, where she supported attorneys working on patent prosecution, licensing, and trademark matters.
Himani graduated with her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and with her master’s degree in chemical engineering from University of Illinois at Chicago.
In her spare time, Himani enjoys spending time with her cat, hiking, and reading.
