Virginia Reinhart is the deputy communications director at the ACLU of Northern California. 

Neil Sawhney is the director of appellate advocacy at the ACLU of Northern California. In this capacity, Neil manages and supports ACLU NorCal’s appellate strategy, with special attention to its advocacy before the California Supreme Court.

Larissa is a legal fellow at the ACLU of Northern California, where she contributes to the team’s litigation, policy, and advocacy matters.

Prior to joining the ACLU, Larissa interned for the Integrity Unit at the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, where she supported the team in its efforts to push for police accountability and transparency in San Francisco. She also interned with Nixon Peabody’s healthcare group, Kaiser Permanente, and East Bay Community Law Center’s Immigration Unit.

Briana is a legal fellow at the ACLU of Northern California, where she advocates against unjust and oppressive criminal laws, policies, and practices. Briana’s work largely includes supporting community advocacy efforts and ensuring implementation of policies that address harmful police practices.
