Isir Said is a Skadden fellow at the ACLU of Northern California, where she works on statewide litigation and policy advocacy relating to surveillance, national security abuses, and criminal justice.
Prior to joining ACLU NorCal, Isir served as a law clerk to Judge Keith P. Ellison of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Judge Jennifer Sung of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Lauren Davis is a legal fellow at the ACLU of Northern California, where she supports the department’s litigation, policy, and advocacy matters.
Prior to joining ACLU NorCal, Lauren interned for the Collateral Consequences Unit at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, where she advocated for clients at risk of losing their housing and employment. She also interned with Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability and at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Sacramento.

Amanda Young is a legal fellow at the ACLU of Northern California, where she supports the department’s litigation, policy, and advocacy matters.
Prior to joining ACLU NorCal, Amanda interned for the Juvenile Unit of the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office and the Family Defense Practice of Brooklyn Defender Services. She also participated in the East Bay Community Law Center’s Clean Slate Clinic and did a field placement with Pregnancy Justice.
