Prior to joining ACLU NorCal, Isir served as a law clerk to Judge Keith P. Ellison of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas and Judge Jennifer Sung of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Lauren Davis is a legal fellow at the ACLU of Northern California, where she supports the department’s litigation, policy, and advocacy matters.

Prior to joining ACLU NorCal, Lauren interned for the Collateral Consequences Unit at Neighborhood Defender Service of Harlem, where she advocated for clients at risk of losing their housing and employment. She also interned with Leadership Counsel for Justice and Accountability and at the Federal Public Defender’s Office in Sacramento.
