Emma McCool
Emma McCool is the Leadership Gifts Associate, where she works directly with the ACLU of Northern California’s Executive Director to support his work in mobilizing resources to advance the work of ACLU NorCal and build stronger social justice movements regionally and nationwide.
Prior to joining the ACLU, McCool was the Executive Director of a San Francisco based sketch comedy nonprofit, Killing My Lobster, and remains an active supporter and advocate for the Bay Area arts community. McCool also spent time on the Rental Events Team at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
McCool attended the University of San Francisco, where she received a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts and Social Justice with a theater emphasis.
In her free time, she enjoys laughing, telling jokes, and dreaming big.
