Laura Inglis (she/her)

Senior Research Assistant

Laura Inglis is the Senior Research Assistant in Development. In this capacity, she researches donor prospects among new members. She previously served nine years as the senior executive assistant supporting the ACLU-NC board, executive director and managing director.

Prior to joining the ACLU, Laura worked in the private sector as a litigation secretary at law firms including Townsend, Townsend & Crew; Gonzalez & Leigh; Legal Strategies Group; and Jackson, Tufts, Cole & Black. She also worked as an account executive at Richmond Wholesale Meat. Previously, while living in London, Laura was a photographer’s assistant, worked at the Notting Hill Housing Trust, and did accounting work.

Laura has served on the board of Crestmont School (aka the Bus School), an alternative school in Richmond, California. In her spare time, Laura tries to connect with various friends and extended family and loves to travel. She is an avid San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors fan since the mid-60s.
